Adam Equipment Astro compact scales are an all around ideal compact weighing scale suited for a variety of uses in classrooms, industrial applications and food portion control. Astro is a great fit for measuring food servings or ingredients for recipes or science experiments. Solid, one-piece construction and stainless steel housing are easy to clean, while the durable grade 304 stainless steel pan accommodates ingredients or a weighing container. Astro is extremely easy to use with only two buttons. The display features high-contrast green digits on the large LCD. If too much weight is placed on the scale, the green digits change to red, alerting the user of overload. Adam Equipment Astro scales operate on both AC power and batteries making it conveniently portable for use on the bench or in the field.
