OHAUS T71XW Digital Indicator
The OHAUS T71XW indicator is an economically priced indicator for advanced weighing applications. The housing is stainless steel and has a NEMA 4X / IP66 protection rating making it suitable for use in washdown or high moisture environments and the backlit LCD display is easy to read in poor lighting conditions. The full alphanumeric keypad and dual-line display with SmarText software that guides users through setup and use helps make operating the scale very simple. It is powered by hardwired AC cord or for portable applications an optional NiMH rechargeable battery is available. For communication with external devices it comes standard with a bi-directional RS232 interface. GMP/GLP data ouptut with date, time, user ID, project ID, and scale ID is supported. Additional communication options include a second RS232 interface or a RS485/422 interface. External devices can also be controlled with an optional AC or DC relay. Weighing applications include weighing modes for general weighing, parts counting, checkweighing, percent weighing, dynamic/animal weighing, accumulation, and display hold. The onboard memory has space for up to 255 unique items and an optional alibi memory kit can store up to 262,000 weighment results. It is able to power up to (8) 350 ohm load cells and an interface for connecting a second scale base with up to (8) 350 ohm load cells is built in. The maximum displayed weight resolution is 50,000 divisions and the NTEP certified weight resolution is 10,000 divisions. With the press of a button the weighing resolution can be multiplied by 10x in weighing mode. Operator access to certain menus can be limited and lockouts for individual key functions can also be configured. With the built in function for counting and 2nd scale base interface the T71XW is perfect for dual base parts counting systems.
