Rice Lake Weighing Systems offers an advanced indicator capable of performing a variety of functions in an intrinsically safe environment. Advanced functions of the 882IS are made possible through its variety of option cards. Cards include an optional safe area I/O module, serial communication, Ethernet TCP/IP, analog, or fieldbus. A built-in duplex fiber option port enables the indicator to connect with the remote I/O module. With an optional rechargeable battery and charger, the 882IS can be utilized in a portable system while remaining explosion proof.

Both the Rice Lake 882IS and 882IS Plus carry FM/cFM and ATEX/IECEx approvals which allow for the indicators to be used in intrinsically safe environments. Rice Lake 882IS Intrinsically Safe Digital Indicator with Battery

Load Cell Capability: Capable of operating up to 4 x 350 Ω load cells or 8 x 700 Ω load cells

Construction: The enclosure is constucted of stainless steel with an IP66 rating

Power: Powered by 5.8-7.9 VDC,100-175 mA with a maximum power consumption 0.25 watts. An optional rechargeable battery and charger can be ordered with the 882IS to make it portable.

Front Panel Controls: The 882IS controls include Zero, Gross/Net, Tare, Print, Units Conv, Start, Stop while the 882IS Plus contains the same controls along with a fully numeric keypad.

Display: Display is a seven digit seven segment LCD display with a matrix messaging area with white LED backlight
